Project Note

Cox Jones Interiors was commissioned to deliver the complete brand identity and interior design of Viola, a Liverpool beauty, aesthetics and wellbeing destination. From the naming and monogram through to the shopfront, the brief was singular: a space that feels closer to a private members' club than a commercial interior — composed, discreet and quietly confident from the first moment of arrival.

Behind a softly illuminated shopfront, the reception opens as a salon in the drawing-room sense of the word. A fluted plaster desk curves into the space beneath a tiered glass chandelier and a gilded ceiling, with a serpentine sofa, burgundy velvet ottoman and antique-brass detailing arranged around a marble floor. Slatted screens in pale oak and brass filter the light, dividing the styling stations and the aesthetics treatment suite without ever closing them off.

Every element was drawn by hand before it was built — plan, elevation and perspective — so that the joinery, the arched backlit niches, the illuminated mirrors and the layered lighting scheme resolve as one composition. The palette holds to alabaster, warm stone, olive green and brushed gold, extended into the stationery, signage and identity so the brand and the building speak with the same voice.
