Our Approach
For us, considered design is about creating interiors that are made to last. We believe true luxury should have longevity. Rather than designing around short-lived trends, we create spaces with enduring materials, exceptional craftsmanship and a sense of individuality that allows them to remain relevant for years to come.
Sustainability is considered throughout our design process, from the materials we specify to the furniture and finishes we select. Where appropriate, we consider the provenance, durability and lifecycle of materials, while working with trusted suppliers and specialist craftsmen and women who share our commitment to quality and responsible production.
We select materials for their beauty, performance and longevity. Natural stone, timber, wool, linen and other tactile materials can bring depth and character to an interior while offering durability and the ability to age beautifully. Where suitable, we also consider reclaimed, restored or repurposed pieces — giving existing materials and furniture another life rather than replacing them unnecessarily.
Bespoke furniture and joinery are designed specifically for each project, allowing us to create pieces that are made for their environment rather than designed for short-term use. We work with specialist craftspeople and manufacturers to create furniture and interiors where quality of construction is as important as appearance. Because the most considered interiors are not designed to be replaced.
Our approach continues through procurement and project delivery. We consider material quantities, durability, suitability and sourcing when developing specifications, while seeking to minimise unnecessary waste and make thoughtful choices throughout the process. For commercial and hospitality projects, these considerations can also form part of a wider approach to the building's lifecycle, brand and guest experience.
We don't believe sustainability should mean compromising on luxury.
